This is the Mount Marston lookout, one of two that overlook the Tobacco Valley. (The other one is at Black Butte just west of town. There's a web cam on that one, HERE is the link!) The watchtower is at 7348 feet and has quite a view. We made the drive up there in August and enjoyed all the wildflowers. At the top we could see our valley to the west, the Ten Lakes region to the northeast, and Glacier Park to the southeast. The last couple of miles the gravel road narrowed to a lane and a half. Of course, that's exactly where we met someone coming up on our way down!
