When I was a kid we took a car trip every summer, 16 glorious days on the road. Anytime we were within 200 miles of Idaho Falls, my Dad found a way to put the town on our itinerary. Why? Because he loved to eat at the North Hiway Cafe. John and I spent the night in Idaho Falls last night on our way to St. George. This morning we headed to the nearest Starbucks. The road made a slight turn to the right, we dipped under a railroad bridge..hmmm, this seemed familiar. Why? There it was! The North Hiway Cafe...still there, still chock full of customers after all these years. Yes, on our next trip through we'll stop to eat :)
