Today dawned with blue skies so we headed back to Puna to that amazing coastline to see if we could get some better photos. I think we did :) I've included a "before" shot where you can see how it looks before the swells hit the rocks. The ocean swells are so big you can get seasick just looking at them. I found that it is just impossible to photograph how awesome it is. When the REALLY big ones come they fill the frame and the scale is lost! Anyway, we had a nice picnic lunch sitting in our beach chairs watching the show that Mother Nature was putting on. Tomorrow is our last full day on the island of Hawaii. We plan to catch up on laundry, visit a museum, and see a movie. We'll be leaving Wednesday morning for Molokai, our first time there :) We are looking forward to the peace and quiet of the island with "nothing to do".
